TRANSPORTED COOLED SEMEN AGREEMENT

I, _________________________________________________________ (mare owner) have agreed to breed ________________________________________________________________ (name of mare) to MACS GOOD N PLENTY in the 2008 breeding season and hereby request that cooled semen be transported for said breeding under the following terms and conditions:

1. First shipment of semen is $0.00 (includes overnight standard shipping to mare owner but not return cost.) All additional shipments will be $250.00 per shipment plus shipping.

1 a. If the mare does not settle after three shipments of semen, that mare must come to the breeding farm to be bred with fresh semen - unless prior arrangements are made with the Stallion Owner.

2. The stud fee of $1250.00 must be paid in full before the semen will be shipped.

3. A refundable semen container deposit of $300.00 must be paid to Dave Fairchild Quarter Horses.

4. Damage to the semen container or contents will be deducted from the container deposit.

5. The semen container must be returned to Dave Fairchild Quarter Horses the day after the mare is inseminated.

6. A charge of $30.00 per day will be deducted from the deposit if the container is not received within five days from the day the semen was transported.

7. The breeding must be done at a QUALIFIED BREEDING FACILITY or under strict supervision of an APPROVED VETERINARIAN/BREEDING CENTER that have regular and timely teasing programs and where the mares are examined by ultrasound to assess breeding status.

8. The mare owner or representative must notify Dave Fairchild Quarter Horses when the mare comes into heat.

9. The mare owner or representative must give Dave Fairchild Quarter Horses 48 hours notice when semen is needed.

10. Semen will be collected on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Call for a schedule - need to know by 8 am CST on these days.

This agreement does hereby become a part of the Stallion Service Agreement between the mare owner and Conifer Quarter Horses dated______________________________ and subject to all the conditions therein.
